Parking for Cruise port Boston is available at the BRA-EDIC (Boston Redevelopment Authority-Economic Development Industrial Corporation) Marine Industrial Park garage, located at 12 Drydock Ave. The five-story, enclosed parking facility located across from the Black Falcon Cruise Terminal, is owned by the City of Boston and operated by EDIC. Ticketed cruise passengers receive a special rate of $16 per day. Cash, Visa, or MasterCard are accepted. The garage has a vehicle height limit of 6’10” but there are some spaces available for oversized vehicles. The garage is monitored 24 hours a day. Dropping off Passengers
If you are dropping off passengers at Black Falcon Cruise Terminal, drive to the end of Drydock Avenue and turn right onto Black Falcon Avenue. Continue until you reach a stop sign, at which point Officers will direct you on passenger drop-off. If parking in the BRA-EDIC garage after passenger drop off at the terminal, turn right onto Design Center Place and left onto Drydock Avenue. The parking garage will be on your right.
Picking up Arriving Passengers
Try our cell phone lot! Cruise port Boston's cell phone waiting lot is located a quarter-mile from Black Falcon Cruise Terminal at 22 Fid Kennedy Avenue just east of the intersection with Tide Street. The lot is open whenever cruises arrive home to Boston's port for the convenience of disembarking passengers and those picking up at the terminal.
The route from the cell phone lot to the terminal is well marked. Tell your party to call you as they exit the ship - the cell phone lot is only minutes away.

A: Cruise port Boston is easily served by the Massachusetts Bay Transportation Authority’s (MBTA) Silver Line Bus Rapid Transit Service. If you are coming from South Station (located roughly a mile from the cruise terminal and also a stop on the MBTA’s “Red Line” underground subway system) you will need to get on an SL 2 bus and get off at the “Black Falcon Avenue and Design Center Place” stop. The cruise terminal is just across the street.
If you are coming from Boston’s Logan International Airport you will need to pick up an SL 1 bus at one of Logan’s four passenger terminals. You will then need to get off at Silver Line Way (located behind the Manual Life building), cross over from the inbound side to the outbound side track and pick up an SL 2 Bus. Once on the SL 2 bus you will then get off at the Black Falcon Avenue and Design Center Place stop. The cruise terminal is just across the street.

A: Embarking passengers can enter the terminal as early as 10:30am for security screening and ticketing. Boarding the ship usually starts around 12 noon.

A: There is no parking at the cruise terminal itself, and no designated area to pull over and wait.
You may park and wait at Cruise port Boston’s cell phone lot located minutes from the terminal at 22 Fid Kennedy Avenue just east of the intersection with Tide Street. The route is well marked with blue and yellow roadway signs. If possible, it is best to make contact with your party by cell phone before leaving the lot to pick them up.
Q: Am I able to rent a car at the cruise terminal?
A: There are no rental car agencies located at the cruise terminal. Logan Airport’s Rental Car Center houses most major car rental companies. You should ideally establish a reservation in advance to ensure a vehicle.

A: If you don’t book a ship-sponsored tour, your respective cruise line does offer a shuttle bus service for a fee that will take you downtown. You can also take a taxi, or public transportation. The closest rapid-transit subway station is South Station where you connect to the Red Line. You can get to South Station by taking the taking a taxi or the MBTA’s Silver Line Bus Rapid Transit Service (the SL2 route, and getting on at the Black Falcon Avenue and Design Center Place stop). If you feel adventurous, you can walk it, which takes on average about 30 minutes.
Q: If I am in a wheelchair or electric scooter am I able to get on a shuttle bus or a taxi downtown?
A: The cruise lines contract with a shuttle bus service that can accommodate electric scooters and wheelchairs to take you to Faneuil Hall/Quincy Market. Taxis can accommodate a fold-up wheel chair, however if you are unable to exit your chair or scooter, a terminal operator can call and request a taxi that is handicapped-accessible, however this is based on availability.

From the North (south on I-93) take the I-93 South. On the expressway downtown, inside the Thomas P. O'Neill Jr. Tunnel, take Exit 23 (Purchase Street), and stay left. At the top of the ramp, go through the traffic signal, and straight onto Seaport Boulevard. Turn right onto D Street. Turn left onto Summer Street. Turn left onto Drydock Avenue into the Boston Marine Industrial Park. Ahead on the left is the entrance to the BRA EDIC Garage for passenger parking. On your right you will see the cruise terminal. From the South (north on I-93) take the I-93 north to Boston. Take Exit 20 (I-90 Logan Airport Worcester/South Station). Follow signs to South Boston. Turn slight right onto Congress Street.
